With the field for the 2018 World Cup officially set on Wednesday evening, seeding for the upcoming draw has also been determined.

The 32 nations competing in Russia, split into four pots, now know their potential group stage opponents. The countries are seeded based on their FIFA World Ranking from October, with one slot in Pot 1 reserved for the host of the competition.
Pot 1: Russia (host), Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Poland, France
Pot 2: Spain, Peru, Switzerland, England, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Croatia
Pot 3: Denmark, Iceland, Costa Rica, Sweden, Tunisia, Egypt, Senegal, Iran
Pot 4: Serbia, Nigeria, Australia, Japan, Morocco, Panama, South Korea, Saudi Arabia
The draw is slated for Dec. 1 in Moscow.
