Study suggests Kane, Alli worth more than Messi, Ronaldo

Tottenham is the proud owner of the most expensive duo in football, according to a recent sturdy.

The CIES Football Observatory published an extensive list of the estimated value of world’s most expensive footballers, with the Spurs duo trailing just Neymar of Barcelona on a chart that also has the world’s most expensive player, Paul Pogba, ranked seventh in the world in terms of value.

According to the study, Kane and Alli’s combined worth of €308 million (£272 million) comfortably surpasses two of the sport’s most iconic stars, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, whose combined value comes in at €253 million (£223 million).

An explanation on the CIES website read: “The exclusive CIES Football Observatory algorithm is based on the thorough analysis of almost 2,000 paying fee transfers.
