Three contenders remain.
FIFA revealed the final nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards on Friday, and, to nobody’s surprise, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Neymar were nominated for The Best FIFA Men’s Player award. The three contenders were selected by a panel of FIFA Legends, who narrowed down an initial shortlist of 24 footballers.

Ronaldo won the award in 2016, beating Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann at the inaugural edition of The Best FIFA Football Awards.

The winner will be revealed at a ceremony Oct. 23 in London.
