Messi, Suarez score late to maintain Barcelona’s unbeaten run

Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi scored late goals to extend Barcelona‘s 30-match unbeaten La Liga run Saturday in a 2-2 draw against Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan.

Franco Vazquez and Luis Muriel scored on either side of the interval to give the host a two-goal advantage before Suarez’s acrobatic 88th-minute goal was followed moments later by the equaliser from second-half substitute Messi.

Barcelona’s 30-match league unbeaten run is now just two short of Real Sociedad‘s Spanish standard from the 1979-80 season.

More to come.
