Real Madrid stars Hazard, Asensio declared fit for restart

Real Madrid‘s injury woes are a thing of the past ahead of their first La Liga match in over three months.

Manager Zinedine Zidane will enjoy the luxury of selecting Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio after the pair were declared fit and included in Real Madrid’s 23-man squad for Sunday’s clash with Eibar.

Hazard has been out since early March after undergoing a procedure to repair his broken right foot.

Meanwhile, Asensio was expected to miss the season because of a ruptured ACL before the coronavirus pandemic interrupted the campaign. But now the Spaniard could play a role in Real Madrid’s push to win the title.

Real Madrid trail leaders Barcelona by two points with 11 matches remaining.
