El Clasico finishes goalless for 1st time since 2002

Despite Real Madrid‘s best efforts to net a winner on Wednesday, El Clasico ended without a goal for the first time in nearly two decades.

Barcelona stalwart Gerard Pique and Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos each produced goalline clearances to keep the score level. Even Lionel Messi flubbed a golden opportunity in front of goal in the second half.

The last time El Clasico finished goalless was in November 2002.

More to come.
