Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has asked Luis Suarez and Arturo Vidal to train alone ahead of expected departures for the veteran pair, according to a report from ESPN UK’s Moises Llorens and Alex Kirkland.

Reported Juventus target Suarez, and Vidal, who’s been linked with Inter Milan, were photographed arriving at the club’s Joan Gamper Ciutat Esportiva training center on Saturday before training individually with a fitness coach.

Koeman, who replaced Quique Setien at the culmination of the club’s first trophyless campaign in over a decade, reportedly told the two 33-year-old players last week that their services were no longer required.

Both Suarez and Vidal have one year remaining on their current terms, and Barcelona are unlikely to fetch significant fees for either. Similarly, Ivan Rakitic secured a return to Sevilla earlier in the week for an initial €1.5-million fee.

Dutchman Koeman is reportedly eyeing Liverpool midfielder and countryman Georginio Wijnaldum as a potential replacement for Rakitic and Vidal, while the Catalan side also welcome Miralem Pjanic to the midfield fold following a swap with Juve for Arthur Melo.
